maximum age The oldest age reached by (some of) the fish of a given population. Note that in FishBase (and in most of the literature) longevity refers the oldest known specimen of a species, whereas tmax refers to the current maximum age in a stock.　
最大年齡 在一特定魚族群中達到的最老年齡。附註在"魚庫"(與在大部分的文獻)中，壽命就是提到種的最老已知標本，然而 tmax 指在族群中當下的極大年齡。
