To save the exhausting fishery resources, limited fishery activities and restoration are the major two solutions. But, the former one is hard to promote for its negative affects to people that rely on fishery for a living, and restoration via marine reserves establishment and administration, the best and easiest way, is not conducted as well as expected. Accordingly, eco-labelling systems becomes the new trend in the recent years. Since every decision people made in markets and restaurants will directly influence the marine biodiversity, to provoke consumers’ awareness on choosing the “Green Seafood” will allow everyone to give a hand to conserve the sea. After all, no buying no killing.

    As a part of ocean culture, seafood culture surely should be promoted and value-added to a trilateral win-win situation for governments, fishers, and consumers. Unfortunately, instead of caring endangered condition of eaten animals and sustainability of fishery methods, people concern only about hygiene and traceability of seafood. Therefore, government should take responsibility to teach people the right ways to buy, to eat, to farm, to catch, and to fish. For conservation, everyone needs to be prepared for an age with expansive seafood. Once fishers’ profits are maintained by higher market price with less supply, the exhausting marine resources could take a break and get recovered again.
