台灣新魚種—2007年
2007年共有14個新魚種發表自台灣，包含阿布氏赤鯮其模式並未使用台灣所採集之標本，但是在非模式標本中有提及，另外太平鈍鯊採自南沙群島之太平島，非台灣本島之物種，少部份物種是延續2005年第七屆印度太平洋魚類會議(7th IPFC)的報告，但值得一提的是近期國際有不少學者赴台灣採樣，以及台灣與國外學者公同合作才得以發現且發表這些新種。
