nomenclature According to the Code, a system of names used in a particular science, and formally adopted by usage of the scientists; a systematic naming of animals and plants applied to taxa, or the application of these names. In ichthyology, the scientific names of fishes are decided in accordance with the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, a printed set of rules that is periodically reviewed by an international body of zoologists. 　
命名法 根據命名規約，被用於特別科學的命名系統，而且正式地被科學家採用；適用於動物與植物分類單元有系統系的命名 ，或這些名稱的申請。在魚類學上，魚類學名的決定必須符合國際動物命名規約，那是一個被國際動物學家團體定期檢討所出版的規約。
