ebb tide Daily change in seawater level from high to low; out-flowing tide; the difference between high and low tide is determined by the phase of the moon, with extreme amplitudes two days after full moon and new moon; tidal change at which ocean water flows in an offshore direction and estuarine waters flow toward the ocean. 　
退潮 每日海平面由高至低的變化；外流的潮水；高低潮的差距受月球週期影響，滿月和新月後兩天潮差最大。
