oligohaline 1) Organisms tolerant of only a moderate range of salinities, 2) brackish water with a salinity of 0.5 to 3.0 (or 5.0) parts per thousand from ocean-derived salts, 3) sea water having a salinity of 17 to 30 parts per thousand.　
寡鹽性 1) 生物的容忍度只在中等範圍的鹽度；2) 半淡鹹水，由海洋所衍生的鹽，使鹽度介於0.5-3.0(5.0) p.p.t的水；3) 介於 17-30p.p.t鹽度的海水。
