outlier male A male Oncorhynchus gorbuscha which is smaller than the dominant male, is coloured like a female, and maintains a position of a spawning pair; in this fashion it is able to deposit sperm since the dominant male does not chase it away.　
門外漢雄魚 細鱗大麻哈魚的雄魚，體型較小於最主要雄魚、與雌魚體色相近，而且維持產卵配對的狀態；在這方式下，它能在最主要的雄魚後釋出精液而不會被驅逐。
