EEZ Exclusive Economic Zone. A zone under national jurisdictiion (up to 200-nautical miles wide) declared in line with the provisions of 1982 United Nations Convention of the Law of the Sea, within which the coastal State has the right to explore and exploit, and the responsibility to conserve and manage, the living and non-living resources. 　
專屬經濟海域 根據1982年海洋法公約，國家可以宣告離岸 200 海浬內的區域為"專屬經濟海域"，並享有開發、探查之權力，同時也須負保護區域內資源之責任。
