exploitation rate The proportion of a population that is caught during a certain period, usually a year. For example, if 720,000 fish were caught during a year from a population of one million fish alive at the beginning of the year, the annual exploitation rate would be 0.72.　
採捕率 族群在某一特定期間被捕捉的比例，時間通常為期一年。舉例說明，在一年期間內從一個達一百萬條魚的族群中捕獲七十二萬條魚，則年採捕率即為 0.72。
