Characteristic	HL 8.4-9.2, DGO 10.6-13.3, TR 2.5-2.6 in TL, Vert 142. Snout short and blunt; swollen thorax; slender tail. Reddish brown body with numerous small yellowish-white spots, even the inner mouth skin; spots on head more dense and yellowish when fresh; near the tail tip the spots decrease and nearly disappear. Fins darker but with a slight whitish margin; slightly blackish gill opening.
