Dorsal and aual fins black with a yellow line at base that broadens posteriorly. A large hemispherical yellow spot at pectoral fin base.
habitats Occurs on outer reef crests and slopes to about 20m depth. Found in shallow exposed areas Usually occurs in small to large aggregations. Feed on filamentous algae.
