Distribution Distributed in the Indo-West Pacific from Andaman Sea and Christmas Island in the eastern Indian Ocean to Fiji, north to the Ryukyus, south to Rowely Shoals and New Caledonia; throughout Micronesia. It is rare and only found in southern Taiwanese waters.
