Characteristic	Dorsal continuing, dorsal fin with X spines and 13-14 soft rays, the III longer than IV obviously; anterior rays elongate as silk; anal fin with III spines and 7 soft rays; pelvic fin abdomen; pectoral fin shorter than head length; caudal fin forked. Gill rakers 10-14 on the upper limb, 22-28 on lower limb, body covered with ctenoid scales, lateral line scales 30-32. Body reddish brown, body lateral scales with a white dot, snout to pectoral fin base with a yellow band; caudal fin base with a dark horizontal band.
