Characteristic	Dorsal rays X, 15-16, the third one is the longest; anal rays III, 7; pectoral rays 14, fin prolonged, the middle rays is longer than lateral; standard length is 2.8-2.9 times of body deep; gill rakers 6-9 + 11-12. Fresh body color is yellowish or white; back side with six inregular redish orange stripe, the last two sometimes break into pieces.
habitats	Maximum size is 6.2 cm in standard length. Inhabit in demersal marine rocky reef environment; depth range from 110 to 168 m. Feed on small fishes and crustacean.
Distribution	Pacific Ocean: Taiwan and Hawaii.
Utility	No commercial fisheries species.
