Characteristic	Dorsal-fin rays 95-100; anal-fin rays 74-80; caudal-fin rays 7-8. Mid-lateral line scales 73-96. Lips on eyed side of head distinctly fringed with labial papillae. Two lateral lines on ocular side. Rostral hook shorter, reaching only to hind margin of lower eye; scales between upper and middle lateral lines 15-16 longitudinal series.
