Found in shallow waters and estuaries, on mud and sand bottoms. Feeds on benthic animals.
Distribution
Western Pacific: Japan, Sakhalin, Kuril Islands, Korean Peninsula to the South China Sea.
Taiwan: Penghu, North, West.
